What does "Powered by Monta" mean?
"Powered by Monta" means that our EV charge points have Monta firmware ready to go from the moment the box is opened. If you have not yet seen our explainer video, click on the video above. It shows most of the domestic home use and on-the-go roaming features. Apart from enabling an easy installation, your mobile phone is ready to connect (via OCPP, for the geeks among us) with the charge point via the Monta mobile app and backend office (for commercial users).
Our chargers point to Monta's secure European servers, and this means that all the current benefits and future updates of this stellar technology are now at your fingertips, via the Monta app. For paid commercial users, a back-office system for managing multiple charge points is also available.
